Sagiance LLP at the XV Latin American Conference

From September 24 to 26, our partners Ezequiel H. Vetulli and Lucila (Luli) Hemmingsen participated in the XV CLA (“Conferencia Latinoamericana de Arbitraje”) a leading regional forum for dialogue on current trends and challenges in international arbitration, that took place in Asunción, Paraguay.

On Friday, September 26, Ezequiel participated in the panel “Investment Arbitration and Climate Change: Encouraging or Avoiding Arbitral Activism?”, where he explored the evolving interplay between investment law and environmental regulation. His intervention focused on recent jurisprudence and the normative tensions arising from climate-related disputes, and the role of arbitral tribunals in shaping sustainable legal frameworks.
