Coaching role at the International Arbitration Moot – Lima 2025
From September 25 to 29, our attorney Emanuel Retana, participated as coach for the Sciences Po Law School team at the International Arbitration Moot held in Lima, Peru. The competition centered on a simulated annulment proceeding, challenging participants to address the use of artificial intelligence by a sole arbitrator in rendering an award—a timely and complex issue in the evolving landscape of international dispute resolution.
Under Emanuel’s guidance, the team advanced to the round of 16, ranking as the eighth-best team overall among more than 50 participating universities from across the Americas and Europe. The team also received recognition for submitting the second-best memorial defending the award against annulment.
Emanuel’s involvement reflects our support for the academic training of young professionals.
