Sagiance LLP is proud to be a sponsor of the International Arbitration Conference 2026, organized by the Universidad de Buenos Aires and the Center for International Commercial & Investment Arbitration (CICIA) at Columbia Law School.

Additionally, partners Lucila (Luli) Hemmingsen and Ezequiel H. Vetulli participated as speakers at this conference at the panel “Arbitration as Risk Architecture in the Argentina–U.S. Context: Infrastructure, Logistics, and Trade,” addressing complex construction, ports, and logistics disputes, the role of arbitration in PPP projects, and dispute resolution from the lenders’ perspective. The event was hosted at the New York City Bar on May 14, 2026 and at the Columbia University on May 15, 2026. A welcome and celebratory cocktail was held at the Argentina Consulate in New York at the close of the first day of the conference, where Consul Gerardo Diaz Bartolomé addressed all attendees. Sagiance partner Lucila (Luli) Hemmingsen also gave welcoming remarks, in her role as President of the Argentine Lawyers Association.
